Since our founding in 1999, Mount Everest Breweries has understood that business success and social responsibility are not opposites — they are two sides of the same coin. As we've grown, so has our commitment to giving back.
Our CSR initiatives span community development, environmental stewardship, and employee wellbeing. We work with local communities across Madhya Pradesh and beyond, creating livelihoods, supporting education, and protecting natural resources that generations to come will depend on.
Our Three Pillars of Responsibility
Everything we do under our CSR umbrella is guided by three core pillars that reflect who we are.
We are deeply rooted in the communities where we operate. From creating local employment to supporting education initiatives, we invest in the people around us. Our Simrol plant alone provides livelihoods for hundreds of families in the region.
Brewing is inherently resource-intensive, which is why we work hard to minimise our footprint. Through water recycling, energy efficiency measures, and responsible waste management, we aim to leave the environment better than we found it.
Our people are our greatest asset. We invest in their health, safety, and professional growth. A healthy, motivated workforce is the foundation of MEBL's sustained excellence — and our CSR begins within our own walls.

Our Simrol plant in Indore is more than a brewery — it is an economic engine for the local community. We prioritise hiring from surrounding villages and towns, providing stable employment and skills training that create generational impact.
From production floor workers to supply chain partners, MEBL's growth is powered by local talent and sustained by our commitment to creating meaningful livelihoods in every region we enter.
Responsible Brewing & Resource Conservation
Water is at the heart of brewing — which makes water conservation one of our most critical environmental priorities. We have invested significantly in water recycling systems and effluent treatment plants to ensure that our operations return more than they take.
We are also steadily reducing our energy consumption through process optimisation and renewable energy adoption, working toward a cleaner, greener brewery footprint year on year.
